Volunteering ACT Surveys

“Who Really Cares?”

Corporate Volunteering Survey Of Employees

Companies are getting more and more involved in corporate social responsibility. Very little is known about corporate volunteering, so Volunteering Australia together with Volunteering ACT conducted research.

The survey aimed to gain insight into the awareness of, and attitudes towards, corporate volunteering programs and to gain understanding of employee involvement in volunteering outside of any corporate volunteering programs.

VACT believes that the resulting data is a valuable indication of what is possible if the culture of Corporate Volunteering could be encouraged and supported in the ACT and its region.

An Implementation Taskforce was formed to progress the Agenda’s objectives and strategies.

As an initial step the Implementation Taskforce carried out a survey seeking information from organisations to assist in deciding on work priorities.
