When considering advertising your volunteering opportunities with Volunteering ACTs referral service the sky is the limit. Make a wish list of positions you would like to see filled and advertise them with us!
How to access this service:
- Identify the volunteer positions you wish to advertise with Volunteering ACT
- Complete a Job Request Form
Volunteering ACT will advertise your volunteering opportunities on our internal database, website and on the GoVolunteer website.
What happens next?
- Prospective volunteers either come in to Volunteering ACT to discuss volunteering opportunities with one of its Referral Officers, or independently search for positions on our website.
- When a volunteer expresses interest in a position they are provided with the details of your position including your organisations contact.
- You will then either receive an email with the volunteer’s contact details (if the volunteer has expressed interest through the internet) or a phone call from the volunteer (if they have come in to Volunteering ACT for a meeting with one of our Referral Officers)
- It is then up to your organisation to liaise with the potential volunteer and arrange a meeting to discuss their suitability for the volunteering position.
