Checklist and Acknowledgement * I understand that Volunteering ACT does not carry out police checks, character references or health checks in referring potential volunteers to Members, and it is the responsibility of the applicant to carry out such detailed screening of volunteers as part of the final selection process. I support the National Standards for Involving Volunteers in Not-For-Profit Organisations and the Universal Declaration on Volunteering. I understand that Membership is renewed annually on 1 July and that Member organisations will be sent an account for renewal in each subsequent year. I have read the Insurance section of this form and attached certificates of currency for Volunteer Accident and Public Liability Insurance.
