Nominations are now open for the 2012 ACT Volunteer of the Year Awards

Volunteering ACT is now calling for nominations for the 2012 ACT Volunteer of the Year Awards.

The Awards ensure that the diverse and generous contribution of volunteers to the well being of our community is publicly recognised and valued.

The Awards acknowledge volunteer service across many activity categories, including the arts, sport, the environment, community services and health.This year each activity category will have an Award for individual volunteer achievement and for the achievement of teams of volunteers.

Nominations are welcome from community, corporate and government agencies and from individuals.
